This forced the Tenakth to unite under Chief Hekarro and his Marshals, leading to the Tenakth successfully liberating their land and capturing Fashav, a Carja soldier who later becomes a Tenakth Marshal. During the events of the Red Raids, the Carja ruthlessly attacked and kidnaped many Tenakth to use them as sacrifices under the orders of the Mad Sun-King, Jiran. The Sky Clan, for example, settled closer to the mountains and used the advantageous elevation to protect themselves from attacks. The Tenakth were divided for much of their history, with each clan controlling a set territory and surviving in different ways. Rumors of guerilla tactics and even cannibalism within the Tenakth spread across the Eastern tribes, painting a very different picture of how the Tenakth were eventually portrayed in the game. Despite not having any special abilities, it not only boasts great physical ability but also proficiency in the weapons it uses. Amid the Red Raids, when the Carja systematically attacked every other tribe in the land, the Tenakth were successful at driving invaders away after a considerable loss of life. ![]() At first, they are portrayed as ruthless warriors who protect their land and kill any intruders from the East. The Tenakth are a warrior tribe living in the Forbidden West, and are the first natives that Aloy encounters early in the game. This means there is a lot of lore behind the tribe that players can uncover as they complete the main and side quests in Horizon Forbidden West. Of the tribes introduced, the Tenakth are the most common that Aloy runs into when exploring the Forbidden West. Red Rebel, when it sees its target either "cheat" by consuming some sort of performance-enhancing drug or brutally beat its user, Red Rebel will enter a heightened state of fury where it gains strength, speed, and durability, but its user will no longer have any control over it this form will last for around two minutes before it causes too great a mental strain on the user, causing Red Rebel to return to normal and the user to faint.Horizon Forbidden West has excelled at creating unique characters in its future post-apocalypse landscape. However, when it is unable to use its club or in the rare instances where it needs to be stealthy, it may draw its shortsword and attack. Usually, it keeps its shortsword sheathed. It holds its shortsword in its left hand. It can also slam its club on the ground to create a powerful quake. Typically, it holds its club in its right hand, and it uses long, sweeping swipes at different limbs to break them and render them useless. In fact, when summoned, it holds one of each. Red Rebel is proficient at using both clubs and shortswords. Sword slashes usually glance off the it unless they're well-placed and powerful. It also is quite durable large stones can fall on top of it and it will be fine, leaving the user unharmed too. Additionally, it can jump extremely high and cause short-ranged quakes with its massive leg strength. This stand specifically focuses on destructive power as it is able to tear through inch-thick walls of steel and crack stone that is nearly as hard as diamond with its club.
